We don't do it for the awards but it's certainly nice to be recognized. Once again, WISC had a great night at the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Awards over the weekend, taking home the two overall excellence categories -- news operation of the year and station of the year. We took home several awards, including continuing coverage for our reporting on Right to Work protests. I am proud of our coverage and helped edit our compilation video. Several people took home individual awards. I even nabbed one, too, for the state's digital personality of the year. Overall, it's pretty inside baseball but it's always nice to catch up with our friends in all the markets across Wisconsin. And though we don't cover news for the awards, it is certainly a great feeling to be recognized by our peers. WISC has had an incredible year in terms of news coverage and it feels really great to be just a member of the team.

Michelle, please extend congratulations to the team. I've followed you all recently and have had a chance to see how your station differentiates yourselves in the market. All continue to step it up in the medium market, but I have to give a shout out to how you and the team make it so personal to your viewers, in particular with your social media focus as well as a purposeful sense of inclusion for the "back of the house" team, and in my words, "the heart of the house"! Well deserved on all fronts! Plus, you all looked quite fabulous for the WBA event!

Mary, thank you so much! It means so much to me (and the rest of us) that you hang out with us every night. You've also been SO generous to us and we really do appreciate your kindness. Thank you for everything! You are the best!!

Congratulations! Well deserved. You have no idea how much I miss you all. I now live in between the Green Bay and Milwaukee markets and don't understand why Madison doesn't reach Green Lake County. Are there plans for having live newscasts at some point? I enjoy the behind-the-scenes on Facebook, but really do miss the newscasts. Keep up the good work!

Lynne -- Thank you!! You are too kind. We are working on having the newscasts incorporated into our livestream. But also -- you can always find the livestream on www.channel3000.com. If you've got a phone and an ipad you could watch both at the same time!
