 Just the girls under Johnnie Mercer's Pier I'm so excited October is here... and not because of the crisp fall weather, football season or the comeback of sweaters. I'm thrilled because my dog finally got a chance to be beach-bound! As you know, all of the beaches along the Carolinas have different rules for allowing dogs on the sand. October 1st was the first day for dogs at Wrightsville Beach. By the way, thanks to all of my Facebook friends for the tip! I would've taken Minnie to the beach months ago, but I wanted to make it a special trip as a "family". And since my husband didn't relocate here until a month ago, I waited. And, it was hard. It must've been hard for a lot of peeps, because I saw a ton of dogs and their owners this weekend. By the way, Minnie DID NOT like the water. She totally thought it was whack. But, we're not giving up hope that she'll become a beach baby. Let me know what's going on at your beach! And if you have any pictures of your beach baby, send them here! I'd love to share!
