Holy heck, orange really is the new black! The Netflix original is raunchy, addictive, and highly informative in a weird-prison-sort-of-way. And, as you can see, some info was a little horrifying: It is terrifying, funny, sad, suspenseful and uplifting all at the same time. "Orange is the New Black" is another mind-blowing Netflix original, brought to you by the same folks who created "Weeds".
A bunch of friends kept telling me to watch it... so thanks to the power of mobile devices, I was able to do a "Sunday Netflix Marathon" while also catching up on the laundry and cooking a week's worth of meals. At the heart of it all, it's a story about the relationships of women... in prison. There's love, hate, violence, and hilarity. The show is not suitable for the youngsters, but it never promised to be clean. I don't even know what's considered raunchy anymore ("Oh, these kids!"), but it definitely has some risque sequences. Bottom line? Sundays are for Netflix. We also call them "Stinky Sundays" because of our lack of productivity. Though church and showers are likely in our future.
