Amazon and CBS Corp. just made the announcement that there’s a content licensing agreement for Under the Dome. The agreement establishes an SVOD, an in-season, online subscription-video-on-demand kind of service. Amazon Prime members will have unlimited access to series episodes four days after the broadcast at no additional cost and will be available for purchase on Amazon Instant Video. Under the Dome takes place in a small New England town that is suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by transparent dome. It’s based off Stephen King’s best-selling 2009 novel.
