I'm writing because I just received some fairly dark news, and it took me back to a place when the holidays were very difficult for my family. I am not comfortable with sharing our story, but several years ago I lost two family members on Thanksgiving weekend. It was sudden and could have been prevented. It shook our family so much that many of us don't speak anymore. Our glue was gone. So, while I'd love to write a long post today about feelings, I'm just going to hold off and remind others that everyone is going through something. Help a loved one, a co-worker, or even a stranger... if they have appear to be having a hard time dealing with all of this holiday cheer. And, try to spread some understanding this holiday season.
