Ringing in 2015 (in a nutshell)

What a great start to the new year!

This year Jim and I decided to get out of Madison for a couple of nights. Last year for NYE, we watched some Netflix and called it in early after I worked a regular nightshift.

But not this year!

We didn't have a lot of money to spend so we decided to use our timeshare in the Dells.  If you've never been, it's worth the 45 minute drive from Madison. If you're from Missouri, it's like Springfield to Branson--only the Dells has the largest water parks in the country.  Maybe even the world. Heck, I don't know.

But it's also a ton of fun in the winter because of the tubing and skiing.  Mind you, it's not Colorado... but it is pretty fun.

A bunch of us got together from WISC and just had a nice fun drinking and playing games. I'm pretty sure our boss thought we were going to get into trouble, but we were all pretty low key. I thought it was really nice, honestly...

And on a side note, Jim and I left the girls and Camp K9 again... and a lot of you made fun of me for my thorough note we left for their caretakers.  Minnie and Piper had a great time and we love sending our pups to the kennel!

Seriously, what a great time. We are already planning another trip back and I think this has to become a NYE tradition!!

Anyway, here's a video of the most annoying sound in the world -- it's not my fault. We went down the fastest run on the tubing hill.  We were not really prepared!
