As I've said before, now is a great time to buy school supplies. I mentioned this in a Money in a Minute segment with Southernsavers.com founder Jenny Martin.
This week I went to Staples and Office Depot. Staples is continuing its penny deals. You do have to make a $5 qualifying purchase to get the penny deals, but most of the time, it's fully rebate-able.
And now with Easy Rebates, you might as well. When they say *easy*, it means *easy*.
I am now out-of-pocket about $1.30 for $14 worth or products from Staples. I bought mechanical pencils, pens, folder dividers and legal pads.
At Office Depot, pencil sharpeners and folders were 10-cents and crayons were 50-cents. In all, I spent $2.80! I can't wait to donate those to a local supply drive!
