I am so excited to report that I will be a new evening anchor for WISC-TV in Madison, Wisconsin! It was so thoughtful for the staff to hangout with me during a recent meeting. The people at the station are so geared for new media and technology, and I'm just thrilled they want to have me around. Not to be a cliched Wisconsintonian...er, Wisconsinite...um, Wisconsiner... but I am really excited about the cheese and the football. I had my first fried cheese curd a couple of weeks ago, and I nearly fell out of my chair. You're not living until you've had a few! Aside from cheese and football, the people are phenomenal. They're just as I'd expect people from the Midwest to be - kind, giving, fun and hardworking. WISC has an incredible reputation for news excellence, and I'm just thrilled to call it home. I am very excited, but it is still a bittersweet move. My husband and I have loved living in the Southeast and we will always carry a piece of it with us. I really like being a Southerner! My last day is June 12th. I hope you'll celebrate my last month with me. And... what should be on our Carolina Bucket list? We'll be back, but I want to squeeze in some things before we head out to the Midwest.
