We had such an awesome Korean Kitchen episode making Korean BBQ lettuce wraps! @KellyMcCullen even did an impromptu cook along! My hangout buddy Linda Linares even stopped the house to eat with us!
Here's the deal. Everyone loves Korean BBQ lettuce wraps. These are made with short ribs, but you can also use a less expensive or less fatty meat... just make sure you beat it to make it tender. All you need is... beef, red leaf lettuce, rice, garlic, onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, and onions. If you want to make the dipping sauce, you just need to get soybean paste, red pepper paste , honey and a jalapeno. You can buy those at the Asian market. Any hot sauce will be a good substitute - I like it when you use what you've got in the fridge... unless you want to try new things.
