Should journalists give a voice to an accused killer? Should a book about a stripper be banned in a public school library? Does Bob Bonner always wear shorts during the news? Those are just a few things we talked about in our news hangout Tuesday night. What is a hangout? A hangout is a way to communicate. You can hangout directly with us if you have a Google Plus account. If you don't want to be on camera, you can still watch over YouTube. If you leave a comment, we'll chat with you! If you're hanging out with us, you'll often learn breaking news as we learn it. You'll see the layout of the studio, the ups and downs of live TV, and you'll probably hear Jon Evans sing some crazy song from the 80s. (Earlier today it was The Bangles...) We'd love for you to hangout with us. We hangout every night at 10 p.m. EST and have friends in there from across the world. In fact, we're the only news station on the East Coast integrating our livestream into our hangouts. Be a part of something! It's such a great way to get the news, really connect with people, and even make new friends.

A feature of the social network Google+, makes it easy to have coffee with friends scattered all around the country, or conduct a meeting with colleagues around the world -- all you need is a webcam and a free Google+ account. Thanks.
