I've read that the dumplings at Paul's Pel'meni are like little bites of heaven...
So, food blogger (and Channel 3000 editor) Hannah McClung and I decided to check it out since the eatery moved back to downtown Madison.

I am also featuring the dumplings in an upcoming issue of Madison Magazine. I'll let you know when it's out! In the meantime, I will say this. You can eat there for less than $4 if you split a full order... and that is plenty of food! You can also order a bag of frozen pel'menis!
And, in a somewhat desperate move, I parboiled pre-made mushroom ravioli, pan-fried it with a little EVOO, sprinkled it with curry and sriracha, added a dollop of sour cream and gave it to my husband for dinner. HE LOVED IT. Not as good as Paul's, but a good second choice!
