I wanted to share this with you because I think it could be a great community service. My trainer, Adam Freeman, is launching a Fit Camp to help raise money for the American Heart Association. He's also putting on the camp in honor of his late daughter, Kayleigh, who passed away after battling heart complications.
The fit camp will be once a week for 8 weeks leading up to the Cape Fear Heart Walk. All fitness levels, all age groups... anyone can join. Adam is bringing a team of trainers and local health experts every Saturday to help motivate, educate and get in shape! The camp is free, but he's asking for a $50 minimum donation to the AHA. (50 bones for 8 weeks is a steal...) Anyway, I encourage you to consider doing something for your heart, something for your family, and something for you! If you choose to join me at camp... we'll do it together!

According to fitness industry standards, rhythmic, aerobic exercise of at least moderate intensity is best in terms of improving heart health. This type of steady physical activity involving large muscle groups strengthens the heart and the lungs, and improves the body's ability to use oxygen.
