I don't know about you guys, but I love taking my dog to the beach. Since she was born in the middle of nowhere in the Midwest, she's not used to the sand and sun yet. And, she most certainly does not "get" the water. BUT, she loves seeing people and other pups at the beach! We recently took her to Wrightsville Beach, and she did the darndest thing. She tried to catch a kite. It was the funniest thing at the time. She kept jumping up and trying to catch it! I recorded it... but then stupidly, I deleted it. Don't tell my husband because he was really looking forward to it being on Minnie the Rottweiler's YouTube channel. Whoops. [UPLOAD YOUR CUTE PET PICS] Anyway... I guess we won't be going to Wrightsville together for a few more months now that it's about to be closed off to canines for the busy season. You'll just have to catch us at another beach that accepts dogs year round! It's been fun!

Our fur babies really do the darndest things. When mine was able to eat milk bones she hated to just bite into a whole one. We had to break the up by hand and then she would eat them. Well, when we did not break them up she got creative and created ways in getting me to do it anyway. I like walking around barefoot. She would watch my footsteps and when she had the pattern down, she would rush in place the milkbone underneath my heal. When it came down the mikbone got crushed and I would say a few choice words I can't write here. She would rush, grab up the crushed milkbone and feast. My partner did not believe my story untill she witnessed the event for herself. She said "My god, she really did it!" Our fur baby is a toy poodle named Xena the Warrior Poodle. She is 14 now and we have loved every minute with her. Sadly, the only connection I have to the internet is via my phone and can't upload a photo. I love your photo's and your fur baby is lucky to have such a loving mom.

Xena sounds awesome! That is such a cute story. I can't believe she's 14! I'm sure you've heard how lucky you are to have her in your life for 14 years. I would love to see a picture someday if you can get your phone to upload a pic. :)
