Oh snap! I just got the best deal at CVS because of Amanda from The Frugal Beach Bum blog. I got paid to buy Advil. How? First things first - you'll need the coupons and a rebate form (available in last week's Sunday paper. If you don't have them, then you're out of luck for the moment.) But... you can pull $1 off coupons from last Sunday's paper. There's also a printable one. That will qualify you for $4 in Extra Care Bucks (ECBs). Those are good as cash for anything in the store during a future transcation. (SECRET - a lot of people will do multiple transactions at CVS.) So, that means you bascially are out of pocket (OOP) $7.41. But... wait for it... there's a rebate. A $10 one! This rebate was found in the Raleigh News and Observer. So, that's another reason to buy it come Sunday. [CHECK OUT ANOTHER MONEY MAKER FROM DELLY'S DEALS] Now, with the rebate, you actually earn money. In fact, you earn enough money to buy another box of Advil! The coolest thing was that at MY CVS, they already had a special on Advil. There was a free 24 ct bottle that came with the 50-count. So, I really got a BOGO deal within a rebate deal. My CVS is pretty darn awesome.
What can you do??? Well, start saving your newspapers. All you have to do is save your coupons and then I'll tell you what to do with them. K? And this is a national deal, so it's the best! It will end on Saturday night. Happy shopping!

Got to give props to people when they send me over some deals. Amanda with the Frugal Beach Bum Blog sent over one heck of a deal from Harris Teeter. I got about $46.19 worth of Proctor and Gamble products for about $12. Then, I also bought a few other things that I'll tell you about, too. The basics are easy. If you buy $30 worth of qualifying items from Proctor and Gamble, you will get a $10 prepaid card. The funny thing is that I'm not sure if it's a prepaid card to Harris Teeter or for P&G products. But, I know it's legit, and I know I'll use it. Thanks to the Keeping Military Families Connected group for the promotion. I will tell you this... the P&G should stand for Paid for & Gamble... because I did hit a little snag getting this deal. It's a deal that's new and one that not everyone is familiar with. And, I had some printing issues. But, thankfully, the staff at Mayfaire Harris Teeter were extremely helpful. It just took a try or two to get it right. You'll get the catalina coupon when you pay. It will print out with your receipt. What are P&G products? Things like Tide, Cascade, Downy, Febreze, Duracell, Bounce, etc. They're things you'll need at some point, guaranteed. I also got some other great deals, including $.49 cents for a can of Furmano's tomatoes (normally $1.99), FREE Nature Fusion Cold and Cough formula (Normally $8.29), .$25-cents for a 100-pack of Sweet N Low (Normally $2.50). It was a pretty good trip. if you haven't signed up for e-vic, then do it... having a VIC c |
