No matter how much we love working as journalists, we always look for inspiration. Writing is a craft that's just impossible to master. It's subjective, yet, there are standard practices.
Thankfully, there are journalists like Andy Choi who keep the conversation going. Andy recently enlightened a handful of us in a Google Plus Hangout.
Andy is currently a reporter and anchor at WISC-TV in Madison, Wisc. In 2011, he was honored with a national Edward R. Murrow award for his writing compilation. Most importantly, though, he's just a great guy.

He shared his thoughts on his reporting process, how he finds a focus and how meeting small goals helps him remain positive. I think he knocked it out of the park, especially for it being his first G+ Hangout!
