Thanks to +Larry Fournillier and The Hangout Networks, I got to share my recipe for Korean dumplings and Korean dumpling soup.  My soup is actually just a pot of stuff I throw together every now and then, but my husband loves it.

Mandu (mahn-doo) is really a great comfort food.  You can fry it, steam it, boil it... even Bubba Gump could find a ton of things to do with it!

This is all just for fun - but I hope you'll consider testing out the Korean waters.  If you live in the Wilmington area, the BEST place to buy homemade, delicious kimchi is Saigon Market.  Tell them I said HI when you go!!  The awesomest story is that the owner (who's not even Korean) makes the most delicious kimchi.  Korean ladies used to snub their noses at her kimchi-making skillz until she stopped making it.  Now I think people are begging her to make it again because booyah, it's back.  So yummy... better than any kimchi you'll find in a Korean restaurant.

Check out the event page for the recipe (or look at the earlier post) and watch the YouTube video.
